Get stuff out there and iterate. Don't marry your first idea. Get ideas down fast. Be a strong self editor. "Does this shine" / "is this new or better"
Be able to process critical feedback. You are also then obligated to give direct feedback. Be a go to resource.
With the consumer. What does the consumer need..and.. What does the consumer need that they don't know they want. Don't breathe your own air too much. Consider the consumer's perspective. What are you solving for them?
Keep your eyes wide open to possibility. Learn about different and adjacent roles to what you're doing or want to do. And be invigorated by that.
Not a mission statement. Your own personal rally cry. Short and sweet. Ownable and memorable. Transcends your job and any business you own.
