###Pre-starting

  • What time is the working day?
  • Where will I be based?
  • Can I work from home?
  • Are there any NDA requirements?
  • Will there be any travel?
  • Is there any parking on site at the office?
  • Define payment terms
  • Define day rate
  • Can I use my own equipment?
  • Is any specific software required?

###On starting

  • Who is my point of contact for any issues, or for things like if I'm running late?
  • What time(s) are lunch/breaks?
  • Are you allowed to eat at desks?
  • What happens about timesheets?
  • What is the process for expense claims?
  • Access to the building - passes/keys
  • Boilerplate document templates
  • Logins/URLs for systems
