How Create React App changed the way I work

Hello, my name is Eduard!

I'm the maintainer of Create Elm App and contributor to Create React App and Webpack

A significant part of my daily work is dedicated to improving the development experience at Trustpilot

The last ReactiveConf was a blast, I've met a lot of super cool people and even managed to host an impromptu Elm-workshop.

Talk content

As a developer I want to have a good time at work and breeze through the bugfixes and features I deliver.

Last year at Reactive Conf 2016 I've met @fson, one of the maintainers of Create React App, and that changed the course of my open-source work.

My talk is dedicated to Create React App and the way it changed my perception of development tooling. I want to share my experience from working on Create Elm App, which is heavily inspired by Create React App.

I want to share my findings from working on development tooling at Trustpilot and encourage developers to evolve the tools they use in their daily life. I'm going to talk about the improvements that could help anyone make their work easier and to present my new open-source project which attempts to expand on the idea of Create React App.
