"Checked against the original. The tops of the first two letters can be made out (not entirely clear on the image whether it is shadow or ink). The final upper tip of μ as in the μ at the beginning of lin21 and the top section of ε as in the ε in the name Θεοδώρου in lin2 are clear to me. I suggest reading μ̣ε̣[σι]τ̣ειαν, so instead of the suggested <:<:[μεσι]τίαν|reg|μ̣ε̣[σι]τ̣είαν:>=PN H. Cuvigny (photograph)|ed|[εἰς ἀσφά]λ̣ειαν:>, I propose to insert <:μ̣ε̣[σι]τ̣είαν=PN H. Cuvigny (photograph) and J. Cowey (original)|ed|[εἰς ἀσφά]λ̣ειαν:>. I prefer to retain the form μεσιτείαν, which is the standard LSJ form and also found more frequently than the form μεσιτίαν in the papyri."
