How to make a Tarot card

We want to make an image that is

  • 2.75" by 4.75" or
  • 70mm by 120mm or
  • 897px by 1497px

36 px on each edge will be cropped to get a "bleed" (so that the image goes all the way to the edge.)

We will add a consistant black boarder (or maybe a different style to the edge).

MS Paint 1

Start a new document and click on the resize button

Set up the dialog like the following:

Click ok.

MS Paint 2

Start a new document and click on File - then on Poperties

Enter the width and height. It should look like this

Notes: if the DPI shown on your screen is different don't worry -- that does not matter if you specify in pixels

Click Ok and you are ready to go.

On the lower right is a zoom slider -- you can adjust that to make the image a comfortable size to dawn on.
