Areas of Focus

Digital Consumer

Products in this area will be focused on engaging our consumers and to enhance their ability to save energy and cost.

The SP Utilities mobile app (backed by Go APIs) that's currently available in the App Stores is an example of one such product.

Digital Grid

Singapore's power network is ranked one of the most reliable in the world. Customers in Singapore experienced 0.56 minute of electricity interruption in 2015/16, compared to an average of 10.19 minutes in top 5 performing cities.

Products in this area aim to continue to uphold and better this standard through the innovative use of Digital Technology.

Digital Energy

Solar Panels, Batteries, Electric Vehicles and IoT.

These are not buzzwords to us but core to the products that we are building in this area.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and build new web apps/services
• Build high-quality web apps/services by writing clean and modular code
• Write functional and unit tests to ensure robustness and reliability of web apps/services
• Catalyse growth within the team through code reviews or pair programming

What You'll Need

• A passion to develop impactful solutions to solve real-world problems
• Fluent in Go, or related programming languages
• Experience in TDD, or writing automated integration and unit tests for web apps/services
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Delivery systems (i.e. Jenkins) and setups

Bonus:

• Experience in Open Source development (Please provide GitHub/BitBucket profile)
