- Quit videogames and other addictive behaviors. Doing them in moderation is fun and OK, but it's way too easy to fall into addiction and compulsive behavior, and it's too hard to fix that. The risk-reward is not worth it.

Will at Pupil Labs pointed me in your direction. I am interested in improving eyetracking for ALS patients. My friend has ALS and I was underwhelmed by her assistive technology (Tobii Dynavox). It is clumsy and the apps are just bare versions of the real thing (i.e., facebook) It seemed to me that the tech is there, the people are making stuff, but the focus is all on VR. I had contacted Facebook and the company they bought for eyetracking for VR. They too said that after VR is in place, THEN they will work on assistive tech. Anyway, I will have an opportunity next month to use the pupil glasses as part of a work event (they want to track engagement, attention, etc) but I may be able to work with them to try your work. Pupil is sending a guy from Chile (Pedro) to work with us. I don't know his role in the company and I know the priority will be gathering the data they want for the event, but I'm hoping to try something.
Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself. It may be too late for my friend, but your work will help so many people.
