Rails & Trix: Add Underline, Superscript, and Subscript

This guide will walk you through adding some extra features such as the ability to underline your text, or enhance your content by adding superscripts or subscripts for annotations or Math equations.

Prerequisites: Instruction guide assumes that you have created a Rails application and installed ActionText.

What will you learn:

Floyd-Warshall - Find shortest path
# Floyd-Warshall Algorithm
## Introduction:
Finds Shortest Path (or longest path) among all pairs of nodes in a graph.
Complexity: O(|n|³)
## How does it work?
- There can be more than one route between two nodes.
- The number of nodes in the route isn’t important (Path 4 has 4 nodes but is shorter than Path 2, which has 3 nodes)
- There can be more than one path of minimal length
class ActionDispatch::Routing::Mapper
def draw(routes_name)
instance_eval(File.read(Rails.root.join("config/routes/#{routes_name}.rb")))
end
end
BCX::Application.routes.draw do
draw :api
draw :account
draw :session

Proposal for Improving Mass Assignment

For a while, I have felt that the following is the correct way to improve the mass assignment problem without increasing the burden on new users. Now that the problem with the Rails default has been brought up again, it's a good time to revisit it.

Sign Allowed Fields

When creating a form with form_for, include a signed token including all of the fields that were created at form creation time. Only these fields are allowed.

To allow new known fields to be added via JS, we could add:

This installs a patched ruby 1.9.3-p327 with various performance improvements and a backported COW-friendly GC, all courtesy of funny-falcon.

Requirements

You will also need a C Compiler. If you're on Linux, you probably already have one or know how to install one. On OS X, you should install XCode, and brew install autoconf using homebrew.
