Experience Team

Project Lead: Michelle Lee

Project Members: Kevin Ng, Ramis Hassan, Erica Sokol, Taylor Emmerson

Project Description: The experience team works closely with the Frontend Design team to ensure that all the products we build are exciting and delightful to use. Experience team will make the hard decisions about what needs to be cut in terms of features when products feel bloated. They will be focused on design and UX decisions, and work closely with the Frontend Design team to create the forward-facing portion of all products.


Frontend Design / UI Team

Project Lead: Kevin Ng

Project Members: Michelle Lee, Chloe Negrette, Erica Sokol, Taylor Emmerson

Project Description: The Frontend Design team will be focused on the look and feel of the products we build. They will be responsible for working with the Experience team to create wireframes and design comps, and advise on interaction. They will make sure that things look great, backed up by the Experience team making sure they are exciting and useable.

Mobile team may be considered at a later date


Frontend Development Team

Project Lead: Nate Butler

Project Members: Kevin Ng, Chloe Negrette, Ramis Hassan, Ryan Klafuric, Ross Zurowski

Project Description: The Frontend Development team is responsible for the realization of the Frontend Design and Experience team's comps. They create sketches, prototypes and final products in code. They make decisions about the technologies required to get things working on the frontend. They work together with the Backend & API team to retrieve content and do whatever they decide to do with it.


Backend & API Development Team

Project Members: Nate Butler , Ross Zurowski, Ryan Klafuric

Project Description: Backend development of any products built by off-site team. Includes API if we decide building once is necessary. This team is responsible for choosing backend tech, what we will need for server space, etc. They are responsible for advising the Frontend team of potential limitations of the backend tech before they become problems, and coming up with solutions of how to tackle those limitations


Notes

Members in italics are not memebers of off-site team, so remember that when assigning tasks! They may not have as much time to work on things as other team members.
