What to pack

Everyone

Pack for a day at camp:

  • swim suit
  • beach towel
  • sunscreen
  • bug spray

Campers

Howdy Campers! You'll want all of the above above, plus:

  • sheets for a single bed or a sleeping bag
  • towel
  • headlamp or flashlight
  • all toiletries
  • nightcap

What to wear

Ceremony / Reception

Truly, wear whatever makes you comfortable, whether thats is a swim suit or a three-piece suit. Ian will wear jeans to the ceremony. The rest of the weekend, he'll probably be in shorteralls. Alysha is going to look super hot no matter what she wears. But it'll probably be pretty nice.

Rest of the weekend

Dress for camp -- t-shirts, shorts, sandals/sneakers. There is a pool house where you can change into fancier clothes for the ceremony as you fancy.

Playing

The camp is ours to use. Please feel free to self organize events. If you want to play basketball, tennis, softball, soccer, kan jam, corn hole, Mongolian yak wrestling, or any other activity... go for it. No need to ask permission.

  • If you need gear, Olaf may be able to hook you up. Let us know if you can bring games!.
  • If you want to find other people to play with you, try writing a note on the Big Board.

Pies

Thanks so much to all of you who volunteered to bring pies. We are so grateful. Here is what you need to know.

  • If you are bringing a pie with you, you can bring it to the Dining Hall kitchen. Bill and Susan can help if you have any trouble.
  • For those who want to bake your pie at camp, we will have access to the kitchen for a few hours Saturday morning. You should bring your own ingredients. We'll have some of the basics like salt and flour.
  • Let us know what you plan to bring!

Other logistics

  • We will add info to the Big Board over the weekend. Check there for questions or updates.
  • Most of the camp doesn't have A/C. There is an air conditioned nurses office and a few other hidden places with A/C if you (or your kid) need a place to chill.
