Sàben created the monastery for several reasons. To honor his Guiding Angel Sariel. To start training Monks. As a safe haven for those seeking peace through redemption . And to be a source of revenue for a Faction.

To become a member of the Rising the being wanting to join has to take on the Oath of Sariel.
“In the name of the Sariel.”
“I pledge myself, from now and forever, to the tenents of the Order of the Rising Sun. I declare to take freely and solemnly oath of fraternity, and hospitality.”
“With this oath I state my strong and irrevocable intent”
“To pledge my sword, my forces, and my life to the cause, defence, honour and further knowledge of the myself, of the Order of the Rising Sun and of my companions in arms; to the rescue of the Rising Sun of the Holy Sepulchre of Sariel, of the Land of Farwater and the surrounding the domains of Farwater.”
“To love my brothers and my Sisters and help them, their children and their widows with my sword, my advice, means and wealth, my credit and everything in my power, and will favour them, with no exception, over those who are not members of the Order.”
“To defend the pious pilgrims, to aid and comfort those who are persecuted by evil, the sick and the poor.”
“To fight evil with my example, virtue, charity and convincing arguments; and to fight with the sword the evil who attack the those we protect.”
