The file InCommon-metadata-export.xml is the current manually-generated export "mini aggregate".
The file exported.xml is the equivalent metadata as generated by the new MDA-based process, for comparison. Note that it is unsigned, and has some additional comment headers. Other than this (and some differences in namespace prefix definition placement and white space) it is essentially identical.
This is a simplified specification for a metadata aggregator with the general capabilities of the eduGAIN service. The specification attempts to make mandatory those aspects of operation which are necessary for the integrity of the service without unnecessarily constraining the metadata which is exchanged through the service.
