<summary>* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...Portions of northeast New Jersey and southeast New York,
including the following areas, in northeast New Jersey, Eastern
Bergen, Eastern Essex, Eastern Passaic, Eastern Union, Hudson,
Western Bergen, Western Essex, Western Passaic and Western Union.
In southeast New York, Bronx, Kings (Brooklyn), New York
(Manhattan), Northern Queens, Northern Westchester, Orange,
Putnam, Richmond (Staten Island), Rockland, Southern Queens and
Southern Westchester.
* WHEN...From Sunday afternoon through late Sunday night.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
in poor drainage and urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- A slow moving line of showers and thunderstorms is expected
to move across the watch area Sunday afternoon into Sunday
night. Rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches will be possible
with localized amounts of 3 to 4 inches possible. These
totals may result in flash flooding of urban and low lying
areas. In addition, some streams may reach flood stage.
