Progression guide

Meadows biome:

  • gather wood, rocks, flints
  • craft Stone axe & Hammer
  • pick Raspberries and Mushrooms
  • build base camp: Workbench, Campfire, Cooking stations
  • build Bed inside, set spawn point
  • hunt a lot of deers & boars
  • make a Flint Knife, Flint Axe, Crude Bow, Wood Arrows, Wood shield,
  • craft Chopping block to upgrade your gear
  • build a Fence around your base camp

  1. Trap the animal in a fence.
  2. Let it lose the Aggro.
  3. Don't alert it with fire.
  4. Throw him the food, fill its hunger to 100%
  • Boar - required food: Raspberries, Red Mushrooms, Blueberries, Carrots, Turnip
  • Wolf - required food: Neck tail, Boar meat, Deer meat, Lox meat, Raw fish, Sausages
  • Lox - required food: Barley, Cloudberries or Flax
  1. Once tamed, rename it with LShift + E. Boars are no longer afraid of fire. Wolves can be commanded to stay or follow.

Breeding conditions:

  • Suitable partner exists nearby (tamed, not hungry, not pregnant).
  • animal is not hungry
  • Total number of creatures and offspring is less than the limit

Breeding:

  • Offspring inherit stars from the parent
  • Offsprings grow while sleeping or being away.
  • Kill tamed animals with a Butcher knife

Farming

  • use Cultivator to make the land ready to plant seeds
  • plant carrots at 1x1 intervals
  • plant trees at 4x4 intervals
  • use 1 Carrot Seed to plant a Seed-Carrot, which gives 3 Carrot Seeds when grown

Base comfort:

  • sitting near a fireplace: 1
  • sitting near a fireplace in a shelter: 2

Console

Enabling console

In Steam Library, select Properties > General tab > Launch Options > type -console.
In a World, press F5 to open the console.

Console commands

Write "/" and use tab to view available commands. Type devcommands to enable all commands / cheats.

  • info - Prints the current system information
  • ping - Pings the server to measure latency.
  • resetspawn - Resets the spawn location
  • respawn - Kills the character
  • save - Forces the game to save.
  • players [number] - Adjusts the difficulty scale. Enter 0 to reset difficulty.
  • pos - Shows player coordinates.
  • goto [x] [y] [z] - Teleports player to the specified coordinates. The [y] is optional.
  • heal - Heals you to full Health.
  • fly - Toggles the fly mode (same as in the debug mode).
  • freefly - Toggles the free camera.
  • exploremap - Reveals the entire map
  • ghost - Toggle the ghost mode (enemies ignore you).
  • skiptime [seconds = 240] - Skips forward, changing day number and time of day.
  • sleep - Skips forward one day.
  • tame - Tames all nearby Creatures.
  • time - Shows the current time and whether sleeping is possible.
  • tod [0-1] - Sets time of day. 0 and 1 are both midnight. 0.5 is noon. -1 revert to default.
  • tutorialtoggle - Turn off/on Hugin's tutorial
