ОБН: доставка через tiptrans/quantium провалилась. https://www.eximpost.com сообщили, что они могут доставить до Москвы, а дальше вы доставляете сами: через приглянувшуюся вам транспортную компанию.

Информациф ниже -- устаревшая.

В этой заметке я расскажу, как заказать PinePhone Pro (PPP) из Гонконга в Россию.

Магазин Pine64 не доставляет PinePhone Pro в Россию (при попытке оформить заказ в РФ вы получаете ошибку "No shipping method has been selected / Не выбран способ доставки"). Но вы можете воспользоваться услугами пересыльщика (package forwarder) -- компании в другой стране, которая получит вашу посылку и доставит её в Россию. PinePhone Pro постовляется из Гонконга, так что нам нужен пересыльщик из Гонконга в Россию (не из Китая в целом!). Я выбрал www.tiptrans.com.

  1. Введём размеры и вес коробки PinePhone на https://www.tiptrans.com/shipping-cost?idc=177&idw=2&weight=0.5&length=20.955&width=10.795&height=5.08 (я уже ввёл, так что просто проверьте). Посмотрите на цены транспортировщиков и их правила -- нам нужно разрешение "Yes: Built-in battery" для доставки PinePhone Pro, который имеет встроенную батарею. Pine Phone Pro должен быть единственным предметом в посылке/корзине согласно предупреждению в Pine Store (это ограничение транспортных компаний: одна встроенная батарея в посылке), так что если вы хотите также заказать аксессуары -- они должны быть заказаны отдельно.
  2. Кликните "Get address in Hong Kong / Получить адрес в Гонконге", пройдите регистрацию и получите свой виртуальный адрес в Гонконге.
  3. Проследуйте в Pine Store (https://pine64.com/cart/), у вас в корзине должен быть только один PinePhone Pro. Выберите метод доставки и введите свой виртуальный адрес в Гонконге, далее вы увидите два столбца: billing-and-ship-to-different-address Billing details -- это адрес, по которому вам начислят налог (должен быть вашим адресом в России). По указанному вами адресу электронной почты будут высланы подтверждение заказа и сообщение о доставке. Виртуальный Гонконговский адрес Tiptrans должен быть введёт в колонку справа ("Ship to a different address?").
  4. Оплатите заказ и на этом первый ваш шаг в доставке будет сделан, второй шаг -- доставка от пересыльщика к вашему дому (расскажу подробней, когда моя посылка будет доставлена в Tiptrans).

Delivering PinePhone Pro from Hong Kong to Russia

UPD: The approach below failed: tiptrans/quantium rejected packages with batteries. https://www.eximpost.com reported that they can ship from Hong Kong to Moscow. After that you may ship it to your address with some transporter of your choice.

In this note I will explain how to order a PinePhone Pro (PPP) from Hong Kong to Russia.

Pine64 doesn't deliver PinePhone Pro to Russia (it just leaves you with a cryptic error "No shipping method has been selected"). But you may use a package forwarder -- a company in another country that will receive your package and deliver it to Russia. PinePhone Pro is delivered from Hong Kong so we need a package forwarder from Hong Kong to Russia (not from China as a whole!). I have chosen www.tiptrans.com.

  1. Input sizes and weight of a PinePhone box at https://www.tiptrans.com/shipping-cost?idc=177&idw=2&weight=0.5&length=20.955&width=10.795&height=5.08. See the shipping rates of different transporters and their rules -- you need permission "Yes: Built-in battery" to deliver our PinePhone which has a built-in battery. PinePhone Pro must be the only item in your package/cart according ot Pine Store warning, so if you want to buy some accessories -- they must be oredered separately.
  2. Click "Get address in Hong Kong", register and get your virtual HK address.
  3. Proceed to Pine Store and you will see these columns: billing-and-ship-to-different-address In the Billing details you should input your financial address (I guess it is used for taxes). An order confirmation and a shipping notice should be sent to this email address. The virtual Hong Kong address from tiptrans shoud be filled into the right column ("Ship to a different address?").
  4. Proceed to checkout and you are done for the first step, the second is delivering your package from a forwarder to your doorsteps (TBD).

  1. 17.01.2022: Ordered PinePhone Pro.
  2. 21.01.2022: Ordered accessories (keyboard, lora, serial console, glass protector, typa A to type C cable).
  3. 24.01.2022 (Monday): Pine Store informed me that my order of PinePhone Pro has been shipped (dispatched) and provided a track number.
  4. 26.01.2022:
  • SF Express tracker shows that my packages was deliverd on Monday but there are still no packages in the Tiptrans dashboard. Asked Tiptrans about my package via their support form.
  • Accessories were dispatched from Pine Store.
  • A friend of mine said Tiptrans' transporter Quantium rejected his package because it contained a built-in battery. This contradicts with info by Tiptrans, so I asked the support to check this fact (they replied that Quantium doesn't accept batteries and didn't comment the misinformation).
  1. 27.01.2022: PinePhone Pro arrived at Tiptrans. Dimensions are:

    21.00 x 11.00 x 6.00 cm 0.44 kg

  2. 28.01.2022: PinePhone accessories arrived at Tiptrans. Dimensions are:

    21.00 x 11.00 x 14.00 cm 0.59 kg

  3. 08.02.2022: Emailed to TipTrans and PineStore asking if it's possible to remove battery from the phone and return me money for it and for the PinePhone Keyboard (which contains another battery).
    10.02.2022: TipTrans refused to extract a battery from the phone, so I asked them to return packages and refund expenses.
