I was so surprised by the 1080p HEVC performance that I manually transcoded a file with ffmpeg and sure enough, it's blazing fast. My i5 8400 transcoded the file (1080p h264_qsv -> 1080p hevc_qsv) at 3x and the Ultra 7 155H at 23x
