He communicates and collaborates well with others; his involvement in PRs and code design are prime examples of this. Even though he's remote, Isaac has ensured that he stay in touch by daily calls with the UI team and participating in dev-chat online.
He is a great team player and contributes to the group's larger well-being, by proactively identifying and taking up responsibilities. Even when the technology he's being asked to learn is less exciting than he might like, he takes up the challenge without complaint, like a professional.

He delivers solid code, consistently and can be relied upon to not only deliver on time, but with a level of craftsmanship that goes beyond expectations. Isaac takes a proactive approach in getting things done. He is a well-rounded engineer and is capable of completing any task given to him--whether it is frontend or server-side, ruby or java or javascript.
He is a quick learner quickly and able to transition from beginner to competent professional in a very short time (Node, Java, JavaScript).
Promoting his projects, building support, and project leadership. Isaac has built some interesting, innovative software, but he has had trouble getting internal adoption for those projects. He should take a look at Apple engineers who have built successful internal projects, and learn about how they gained traction and what they did to be successful.
