mkdown

What is this?

Mkdown renders Markdown GitHub gists with alternative CSS. Use it to elegantly share gists written in Markdown.

How do I use this?

To create your own mkdown URL, append the gist ID in a URL of the form: http://mkdown.com/{GIST ID}. The gist ID is the string at the end of a gist URL.

Why did you build this?

I found myself sharing a lot of Markdown gists. I love the simplicity of the medium, but I thought there were a few ways to improve its presentation. Mkdown is a work in progress, and elegance is in the eye of the beholder...hit me up with feedback. Mkdown is open source, available here.

Built by Jack Groetzinger. Most of the heavy lifting is done by GitHub, one of the best things on the web.
