Some years ago letters were used as license codes and DDS knew how to map them to the appropriate license text to display. This was changed and all licenses should've been updated to the new method but inevitably things were left behind.

The letter codes were changed at least once and there's a lot of confusion as to what is correct for each one (and there's no solid documentation). As such, it's necessary to look at most of these strange cases by hand.

In the case of the ones below, when looking for their appropriate license, I've found the majority are items that shouldn't be showing at all on WL.org or WC.org so it's a moot point as to their licenses.

Note: "Deletion" from the storage service does not actually remove the item from the storage service. Instead, it sends a blank fetch.txt file in a bag to the storage service which tells DDS to ignore this item and not to serve it up in the UV.

b1616006x - "deleted" from storage service due to ingest under wrong bnumber. Correct bnumber is b20052194

b1665836x - "deleted" from storage service as MP2 is corrupted and it needs re-digitized

b16159949 - "deleted" from storage service as Sierra record for this bnumber was deleted in 2012

b16160083 - "deleted" from storage service as Sierra record for this bnumber was deleted in 2012

b16774073_0001- "deleted" from storage service as MP2 is corrupted and it needs re-digitized

b17222527 - "deleted" from storage service as it was an unwanted photo of cassettes

b18022406 - "deleted" from storage service as copyright permission was denied by publisher

b18194448 - "deleted" from storage service as Sierra record for this bnumber was deleted in 2012

b24752289 - Strange one. According to DDS it's b24752289_13: Volume 13, 1872 of Chemist and Druggist when the rest of C&D is under b19974760. I've looked into this and b24752289 was a test for C&D and if I could delete it from the storage service, I would, but C&D is very complicated. Is there a way it can be ignored?

In any case, code 63 is mapped to CC-BY-NC for the other parts of C&D. This is the text in the UV:
