We will pick a topic from the ones suggested by you and have an open discussion in a typical mastermind fashion. The target is a 30 to 45 minute show that's pretty focused. A typical show will be as follows:
Jean or James will introduce you and the topic and dive right into discussion.
As we wrap up the show we may like to have you offer some common, or better yet, not so common advice on the topic being discussed. Below are a few questions we could ask so you can be prepared.
- If someone could only read one book on today's topic, what would you recommend?
- Who are the other leaders in this areas we should be following?
- What's one tip concerning this topic that if applied would have a positive impact on our businesses?
We will be be talking via a video Skype call, but recording via a servce caleed Zencaster. Please keep your caemra on as this provides a more fluid and conversational tone. Once connected via Skype you will be provided with a link that needs to be opened in Chrome or Firefox. This will record each of our parts locally and then upload to our DropBox account for post production. Here is the basic rundown.
- We'll connect via Skype.
- A link to the Zencaster session will be provided.
- In Zencaster, make sure you have the correct mic selected.
- We'll will hit record and begin.
To that end, there are a few things we can do to make sure that we get good bandwidth and audio quality:
- Please use headphones. That will reduce feedback and echoing.
- Turn off Dropbox and other syncing services. These tend to kill bandwidth.
Other things that could help if possible:
- Connect via ethernet right into the modem or router
- Use a mic other than the one built-in to the computer
- Restart the computer and boot up Skype right before we record
