In one of my pet projects, I redirect all requests to index.php, which then decides what to do with it:
This snippet in your .htaccess will ensure that all requests for files and folders that does not exists will be redirected to index.php:
RewriteEngine on
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
@echo off | |
REM Completely delete file / directory
echo Are you sure that you want to delete %1?
echo y/n | |
choice /c:yn > nul | |
if errorlevel 2 goto no | |
if errorlevel 1 goto start |

The correct way of creating a private frok by duplicating the repo is documented here.
For this assignment the commands are:
git clone --bare git@github.com:usi-systems/easytrace.git
