The fireside chat with Jeff and Ingrid was definitely a much needed and much appreciated event for me. Going into this chat I had no idea on what to expect. I haven't had to do a job hunt or interview in about 5 years and most of those interviews were for part time retail positions so the interviews were never really that in depth or intense. Ingird had a lot of great insight (from the do's and dont's of interview ediquitte to the follow up process). I've always found it difficult to do a follow up without coming across like an asshole or like I am desperate and a lot of what she said really put me at ease about that. I feel like just listening to them talk about interviews they remeember that went well and didn't go well really helped give me insight into what I should and shouldn't do. I definitely feel better equipped to take on the interview process now.
