Counterparty, an innovative platform for peer-to-peer markets and financial instruments, is looking for a dynamic Community Outreach Manager(s) to work with the Counterparty Foundation and community to drive engagement, inform and support the community, and help grow awareness of the Counterparty platform.

Spend 6-8 hours each week working on community outreach

Community Newsletter once a month
- Publish newsletter in format with 'Developer' and 'Community' update sections similar to
- Work with foundation and devs to get 'Developer Updates' content
- Work with community to get 'Community Updates' content
- Newsletter draft ready for review/edits by foundation 1 week before publication

Community Hangout once a month
- Advertise hangout on social media prior to meeting (1 & 2 weeks out)
- Set agenda for community hangouts and ensure hangout stays generally on topic
- Organize and lead the hangout using software of your choice
- Record the community hangouts and publish for community review
- Capture minutes and report any relevant issues/topics to foundation/core devs

Social Media engagement (1-2 engagements per week)
- Telegram
- Slack

Spend 4-8 hours each week working on community support, developer engagement, and press/media management

Engage with CP developers to understand upcoming features and be able to explain them in laymens terms if/when asked.

- Answer customer support threads on counterpartytalk.org

Developer List
- Maintain a list of developers, projects, and contact info for each

Press / Media Engagement
- Work with press agencies to coordinate news stories on features / projects
- Establish contacts at various press/media agencies

- Provide press/media contact information to Foundation upon request
- Get explainer video done
- Refresh site to remove ETH/smart contract references
- Update website 'projects' section with more complete list of projects
- $500/mo for completion of Primary Job Duties
- $250/mo for completion of Secondary Job Duties
- Payment for the work done the previous month is to be paid out the first week of the month.
- All payments will be made in XCP at a fair market rate of the day on coinmarketcap.com
- All payments will need to be approved by foundation before being released
The expected length of the contract position is 6 months. This length of time is not binding to either party and may be extended if desired by both parties.
Either party may terminate the agreement by giving 2 weeks notice. If the agreement is terminated before the end of a month, the prorated amount due that month will be paid on the termination date.
