I moved all of the "wrong" iwlwifi ucode files out of /lib/firmware/ so that the -16 version was the first available and re-probed for the driver.

Before: driver=iwlwifi driverversion=4.8.0-22-generic firmware=21.302800.0

After: driver=iwlwifi driverversion=4.8.0-32-generic firmware=16.242414.0
