Here's a list of potential issues and fixes and what to do if you can't make the meeting so a no-show or technical difficulties don't result in our policy enforcement (does anyone like enforcing policies? I sure don't!).

If I don't see anyone joining the screen share session 10 minutes after our starting time, I'll go ahead and cancel it. So, if something is not working, reply to my email to let me know in that timeframe!
- π We can cancel the session and reschedule if you let me know in the first 10 minutes. It will not count against any included sessions. See the policies section for more on what that means.

If the Zoom link is not working, first try
- Quitting the Zoom application.
- Click on the Zoom link again in our email. It will restart the connection process β»οΈ.
- If that doesn't help, let's try two things:
- Open the file menu for Zoom and press Check for Updates. If any are available, please update, then once that's done, try our Zoom link again.
- Restart your computer and try the process over again.
Reply to our email to communicate what's happening! As long as I don't have anything scheduled right after our original meeting time, I'm happy to start late and still work together for the whole time. Still, I need to know if you're trying to connect, so let me know by replying to our email in those first 10 minutes, please.

Since we are using Zoom for the screen sharing session, you will not receive a phone call. You will need to click the Zoom link to initiate our session together.
It is possible to connect with me over a phone or tablet through Zoom, but that will not create the optimal experience to work together on building your site. If it's possible, please connect with me on your computer.

You will need to install the Zoom software. Use this link to download it, then please run the installation application to go through the process: https://zoom.us/support/download
I emailed you a link to our session. It's a link that has our session ID in the link. You can test the experience clicking that link. It should open Zoom the same way it will when our meeting time arrives. Close Zoom and come back when our meeting begins if it all works!
You can also test Zoom by pressing Join a Test Meeting on this page provided by Zoom:
When you click on our link, if you open it before I have joined, it will say it's βwaiting for the hostβ until I connect. That's expected π. Stay put and I'll join in at our start time.
