@jesussuarz Can you let me know when you share the license for version v8.10.1?

Hi @kingmaggot I just published the latest version, sorry for the delay.

Thank you. The system slows down a lot when I use the license file. What could be the cause? @jesussuarz

You must force the update of your local license, to do this execute the red "force license update" button that appears in: "whmcs_path/admin/help/license" or "whmcs_path/admin/index.php/admin/help/license"

Yes, even though I do this, it causes problems.

I haven't heard of this issue occurring with anyone else. It would be necessary to investigate your WHMCS and server logs to determine if this is related to the licensing issue. I have a clean installation with WHMCS, and I'm not experiencing this problem. However, I honestly don't believe it's entirely related.

I also noticed the slowdowns. Even on a fresh install. With a valid license everything was faster.

The system works very slowly, page transitions in the administration panel take between 4 and 6 seconds. I tried every way (clean install, different servers etc.) but couldn't solve the problem. Can you help please?

Given this information, I am going to try to investigate if there is a solution in this regard.

Is there any progress? I also think there is a problem with page redirection in the admin panel. For example, when you respond to a support request, an error page appears. When you manually open the support page again, the support request appears without any problems.

The error I mentioned:
“Oops!
Something went wrong and we couldn't process your request.
Please go back to the previous page and try again.“

Try enabling the debug to check what is happening, deactivate any plugin to confirm that it is an error in your plugins, it is very possible.

If this does not solve the problem try to upload memory resources and post request

I can't confirm the redirection issues but for any admin page to even begin to load it really takes 4 to 6 seconds. This seems to be exactly the same amount of time every time. So either they did this on purpose or we hit some kind of timeout because of the modified licence file.

These 3500 records are created in an average of 15-20 minutes. I don't use any plugins because this is clean install and there is no module or etc.
Maybe that's why the system is running slowly.

I get way more entries like this in a production environent (with a legit licence) so this shouldn't be an issue.

@jesussuarz I have legal license and stuck on v8.1.3 . I just want to get latest update. After upgrading to v8.4 getting error "You are using an Owned License for which the support & updates validity period expired before this release."

Anyway to fix this without knowing WHMCS? May be we just modify "updatevalditydate" without changing other original function? Also domain verification also need to be "pass"

Want to appropriate your knowledge and hardwork. Do you accept donation?

if you go to the following link: https://www.whmcsfull.com/#license

You will see that there are "specific versions of the license.php file for each version of whmcs". The reason for this is because in some versions they make changes that may cause the file to stop working. That is why it is necessary that you download the specific version. And if it does not exist then I must generate it.

Of course I accept donations. It would be a great support for my work. (binance or btc)

@Sweepy94 The error shown in the screenshot does not suggest a licensing issue. Please check if there are any other plugins/addons that might be affecting your WHMCS installation.

Let me know if this resolves the issue or if there is anything else I can assist you with.

You can enter any license number "even if you have not purchased any" the software will accept and continue its installation process.

@jesussuarz help me please :c

As I said before, remove all the plugins you have installed.

This is done from the administration panel, but if you do not have access, you will have to find some way to delete the module manually, the easiest way is by deleting the module folder.

example:

rm -rf /path/to/whmcs/modules/servers/examplemodule
rm -rf /path/to/whmcs/templates_c/*

@jesussuarz I have a slow WHMCS with your license file, have you figured the problem ?

After conducting several reviews, I haven't been able to determine the cause of this issue.

I'm testing with a version that has 2 users, and it's possible that the number of registered users is a factor, although I'm not certain.

I will continue investigating to resolve this issue.

If that can help, I think its mostly just the admin dashboard that is slow, everything else looks good

Edit: Also figured that localAPI() call are slow
