Our client is an exciting hedge fund manager looking to expand in the Nashville, TN, area.
 
They would like to add a Infrastructure Engineer to their team.
 
Key Responsibilities:
* Work as part of the Infrastructure team to ensure business needs are identified, prioritized and accomplished accordingly.  Position reports to the CTO.  
* Work on the continual improvement, refinement, automation, and upkeep of the end-to-end infrastructure. 
* Act as an escalation point for helpdesk related tasks
 
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
* Expert knowledge of VMware ESX, vSphere, and View environments.  Considerable bonus points for proven expertise with Cloud Director.
* Expert knowledge of Windows Server, Desktop, and Active Directory Administration
* Expert knowledge scripting using PowerShell,  Ruby or Python.  Bonus points for proven complex infrastructure automation tasks.  
* Strong knowledge of NAS storage design and administration.  Considerable bonus points for proven expertise with ZFS on Solaris 11.
* Strong knowledge of switch and firewall configurations from vendors Cisco, Checkpoint, Stonegate, Microsoft Threat Management Gateway and VMware vShield.
* Experience with the Microsoft System Center and VMware Operations Manager product suites. 
* Experience documenting complex environments
* Experience with project management, vendor management, and policy development
* Experience working both as part of a team and independently
