I'd say a "nice to have" would be public/private forums, as well. Something like admin "announcements" could be useful, too.

Alex, what would public/private forums look like? Are you saying some discussions should be limited to a select group?

In a dream world, I'd love the indyhall forum to be public to non-indyhall members as well as members…and then a sub-set of the forums only for actual members of Indy Hall. Basically, there's many conversations that happen in basecamp that would be valuable for the rest of the world, and there's conversations out there in the world that would be valuable for IH members. Creating a space where those lines can blur easily seems interesting to me. Again, not a requirement…but something to help IH level up our community in the outside world.

For internal people, by default subscribed to all. Outside people are by default not subscribed to anything.
