Lists of nations/regions I will and will not visit

Current policy effective December 2023

  • Travels should be avoided as possible - risks of COVID-19 and other epicemics are still high
  • Travels are limited within Greater Tokyo Area (no overnight stay)
  • No travel > 100km except for family and business needs
  • No air travel except for funded business needs
  • All business meetings should be conducted as teleconference without in-person interactions

Denied destinations

I will not visit the following destinations:

Due to political instability

  • Belarus
  • China (People's Republic of China)
  • Hong Kong
  • Macau
  • Russian Federation and the territories

Due to US Visa Waiver Program restriction

  • Iran
  • Iraq
  • North Korea
  • Sudan
  • Syria
  • Libya
  • Somalia
  • Yemen
