Hi, everyone!
I hope to see you this Thursday between 6 and 8 PM!
Here's what we've been learning:
-
I released a gem! It's called jasmine-fixture-builder, or "Jazz Fix" for short. Have a look. If you want to get involved, just pick an issue and send me a pull request!
-
One of our members shared her project with us. In trying to debug an issue, we found ourselves in the bowels of nested resources and the Rails routing system. Standard information about Rails and Routing is available in the Rails Guides. I also found a useful article that covers nested routing in the larger context of trying to keep your application RESTful. Very good read!

We discussed the myriad ways of commenting ruby code. Techotopia has a nice summary here.

As promised, here are Dan Wellman's slides about Acceptance Testing. Dan gave his talk at XP NYC. Please join and come on by next time!
