These are my go to meals.
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 6 oz spinach OR some kale stems
- 1 scoop vega protein powder
- enough water to be able to blend
- 1 bunch of kale, tear or cut into small pieces, save stems for smoothie
- 1/2 lemon worth of lemon juice
- salt
- avocado
- salsa
- nutritional yeast http://www.bragg.com/products/yeast.html (also sold in bulk a lot)
Combine kale, lemon juice, and salt. Massage kale for 1 min. Add avocado, salsa, nutritional yeast. Toss. Add any additional veggies and any protein source.
- 2 tbs olive oil
- 2 tbs Earth balance
- 1/2 onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 bunch of kale, tear or cut into small pieces, save stems for smoothie
Cook olive oil, Earth balance, and onions over medium until onions are translucent. Stir and add water as necessary. Check every 5 minutes. Add garlic and kale. Cover and cook 5 more minutes. Add any protein source.
