I've seen Nolan's Inception for around four times or something. It's an excellent piece of art blended with pure imagination and creativity with touches of reality to pull us into the movie.

I've been Nolan's premium fan ever since I saw The Dark Knight, its flow of story, and the Joker. He's a genius at story telling, rendering happenings with pure talent. That's bloody difficult than writing code. We have algorithms. He doesn't. We have data structures to frame and hang data. He doesn't. All he has is a visual portal with slots of scenes to tell data. Sorry, story. Though in most cases we have best solutions predefined, it takes a lot of indigeneous artistry to turn our code into something beautiful, a software. Analagous to what he does. He takes an incident, turns it into a story and tells us in the best way possible.

Well, I honor him so much, but there's a very very slight blunder in his Inception, which absolutely doesn't affect any part of the movie's aura even remotely.

Nobody, could have ever noticed it since the concept visualization at that time is so intense and you just couldn't keep up with the story flow at that critical a shot.

For a little overview, the story goes like this. Cobb, is an extractor who plays with shared dreaming. he needs to get back home to see his kids, which he couldn't because he is convicted of murdering his wife. He and his trial of inception with his wife is completely another story. Saito a very powerful man hires cobb to incept an idea into Fischer, his competitor. So, with a crew along with others like Eames the forger, who forges the mannerisms of Fischer's uncle Browning and a girl, the architect, and an Indian, the chemist and another one, all of them go down and down in three levels of dreams into Fischer to install the idea.

Now, in the first level they drop into Fischer's dream. Fischer's training to defend extractors bring on armed projections who try to kill Cobb and his team in the dream. Now Cobb has to fake a kidnap show, to pull him into another level of dream and convince fischer that he is in a dream, and in his reality he has been kidnapped by Browning's people. Fischer's projection of Browning is faked by Eames, who acts as if he is Browning. So in the second level, he(i.e Browning) acts as if he accepts that he kidnapped Fischer in reality(i.e one level up the dream, which is not reality, really. bit confusing, isn't it? wait, there's more) So Fischer accepts the whole situation and gets convinced that he is in a dream. Fischer wants to get inside Browning's(faked by Eames), so that he knows why Browning did so. This is what cobb and his team wants. Fischer should go down into Browning's dream, so that he would let his own sub-consciounce to open up for cobb, to plant the idea. So, in the second level they tell Fischer, that he itself is in his dream and he needs to get into Browning's dream to find out what Browning is upto. But, actually cobb and his team goes into Fischer's dream. So with respect to Fischer he is in Browning's dream. but actually all of them are in Fischer's dream just one more level deeper.

Now, in this third level, at the genesis of the level, Cobb instructs one by one what they have to do faking as if they are into Browning's dream(Eames as known by cobb's team). While Cobb gives instruction, he says at say 01:40:XX in my vlc, "Eames, this is your dream. You're responsible to drive away the security away from the complex" Well, just a level above he convinced Fischer that they all are gonna break into Browning's dream and then this came. while as far as I(the audience) know(and cobb's team), they all are into Fischer's. This seemed to be pretty a contradiction. How will Fischer let others into his own subconsciounce knowing that its not Browning's dream and its Eames?

But there's a possibility I am wrong. In the second level of dream there are two characters, Browning and Eames separately. Browning, the sub consious projection of Fischer and Eames the forger who imitates Browning to Fischer in the first level appears as Just Eames in the second level. For me everything just breaks up at this part of the movie. Either I don't have enough brains to catch up or it is an obvious mistake. I don't think it's a mistake. It's just the contradiction I felt when Cobb says in the second level that they're going into Browning's dream to Fischer and immediately in the third level tells everybody including Fischer that they are in Eames's dream. Whatever it is, the film is a masterpiece. I don't think there's anybody who can take a script that intense, and turn it into an art, except nolan.

He must be so much a genius that it takes a little bit of creativity for ourselves to catch his entire wavelength.
