Allotment irrigation system

Irrigation system

It’s solar powered and runs off the sawn off wheelie bin. It’ll stop if there’s no water left. The battery seems to get more than enough from the solar panel never had probs. Technically you’re meant to wipe it every now and then and also change the angle with the seasons.

It has two buttons on the top

One on the right turns it off completely - could do this during the winter

One on the left wakes it up. You need to press this if you want to connect to it to change the schedule

Once you click that button it should beep

Then look in your WiFi networks for one called Harvst-2CCC. There’s no password

Once connected go to http://192.168.4.1

From there you can see the status and stuff

There are two zones.

Zone 1 is the planters. You can try it out by clicking the water for 10seconds

In the summer I usually get it to water for between 30-90seconds. In think it does 20l a minute

Zone 2 is the bench and shelves. Most of those drippers have a value on them so you can turn off the ones you don’t need. Some of that zone is spray/mist things. Be careful not to get got!
