01 Getting Started - Making a Beat

To load audio sample onto midi track:

  1. select track and slighly changes colour
  2. Double click to load it into midi track (track name updated)
  3. Click in track and draw desired bars to select them
  4. Insert Empty Midi Clip track [CTRL + SHIFT + M]

On Piano roll editor (with preview button enabled) double click

  • Adaptive Grid view setting to view scale in accordance with zoom of track

  • Make a loop brace - [CTRL + L]

  • Turn down kick to -4

Replace a sample by dragging it onto the sampler
