- Olympia Oyster Bar (does what it says on the tin)
- Dame (natural wines + great food)
- Blue Star: Higher-end cake-style
- Pip's Original: Little donuts, made while you wait
- Voodoo: Touristy/gimmicky, skip
- Enso: Beautiful little bar/tasting room, great wines
- Teutonic: All German-style wines (made in OR), usually 70s rock vinyl on stereo
- SE Wine Collective: Big collaborative space shared by a half dozen wineries
- Commons: Good farmhouse style ales
- Cascade Barrel House: A dozen or so sour beers
- Gigantic: Excellent IPAs
- Rev Nat's: An original, tends towards experimental
- Cider Riot: Punk-themed English-style ciders
- Bushwackers: Two all-cider pubs plus they make some of their own
- Portland Cider Co: 24 cider taps
- House Spirits: Good aquavit and moving into whiskeys
- New Deal: Excellent gins
- Stone Barn: Good rye, plus excellent liqueurs from local fruit (quince, marionberry)
