Magento Open Source Community Council

Magento Open Source Community Council. Magento Association, either directly or through supervision of the Community Council. The Community Council will be a cross section of the community that will be responsible for:

  1. recruiting volunteers to serve on the Community Council who meet or exceed the qualifications outlined in Exhibit D (“Qualified Council Member”).
  2. coordinating and supervising the Community Council, who will be responsible for: a) collaborating with Adobe for submissions to the main codebase, b) ensuring that such submissions are prioritized in a manner that is transparent and publicly shared with the community, and ensuring that submissions to the Magento Open Source code base are ultimately backwards compatible, pass all security checks, and pass all quality checks as determined by Adobe.
  3. polling the Magento Open Source community periodically to monitor community satisfaction of the submission voting process;
  4. maintaining membership of the Community Council, which shall be comprised of: a) at least five (5) members but no more than ten (10) members, b) at least one (1) member from Adobe but no more than two (2) members, c) at least one (1) member from the Magento Association board but no more than two (2) members, d) the remainder shall be Qualified Council Members from the Magento Open Source community. In no event will either Adobe or Magento Association each comprise less than 10% or more than 20% of the Community Council.
