-
by Jan 15 prepare a realistic "battle plan" for big project of moving the "medium level" and "advanced lectures" to the MyST Jupyter books format
-
this plan should be divided into "plan A" and "plan B" components along the following lines:
-
plan A would entail getting "everything" we want with all parts working
-
plan B would entail getting "enough" working quickly while leaving some finishing touches undone but conveniently isolated so that "completions" can be dropped in as they come on line. The idea would be to structure this so that the suite of plan B lectures could be "hauled into shop" and easily be retrofitted by Matt and Shu.
-
realistic forecasts of time-to-completion for plan A and plan B so that John and Tom can advise how to allocate valuable Matt and Shu time.
-
-
-
Devote half-day a week to creating a "fool proof" up to date documentation about how to install and use Jupinx and Jupyter MyST infrastructure for both Mac and Linux.
-
Advise John about how to make efficient use of Shu while making it a challenging and learning experience for him.
