I am not a hipster, but..
Text from http://jesseesspot.blogspot.co.uk/2012/02/how-to-tell-if-you-are-hipster.html
The typical hipster garb:
Horned rimmed glasses, preferably thick and black (I have brown plastic framed glasses and not really sure what horned rimmed ones are)
Old nostalgic pop-culture t-shirts, skinny jeans or leggings, vintage anything, plaid, flannel or cowboy shirts, chucks and skinny hoodies (I hate all those clothes except skinny cords.)
Crazy thick beards or weirdly styled mustaches, hairy girl legs and armpits (I have a mustache that I occationaly wax, but my beard isn't partically thick)
Hideous sweaters (I wear the finest merino wool jumpers so I think I'm fine on this one)
Knit caps, vintage fedoras or trucker hats (I don't do hats)
Tats and funky body piercings (No!)
The typical hipster is into:
Yoga and meditation (I'm too lazy for that)
Vinyl records Oh! But the sound quality! (I do buy vinyl records)
Old label brand or cheap beer (No, craft beer only)
Obscure bands/Indie music, music recommended by Pitchfork or the Village Voice it's like, "I listen to bands so underground, they haven’t even heard of themselves!" (But Pitchfork reccomend really good music)
Old movies, independent and/or foreign films, Wes Anderson movies (Yes, yes, yes and so yes)
Clove cigarettes (Yes)
Being ironic (I'm never ironic)
Macs and/or anything Apple (Yes)
Fixed geared bikes (Hate cycling, but if I did, I'd so have a dutch fixed gear bike)
Messenger or Courier bags No, not backpacks. (Yes, but mine is tweed)
