Average 20 hours per week. Location Austin, TX. Ringful Health is seeking a part time developer to work on mobile applications for health care clinicians and patient engagement. The position will provide an opportunity to work on leading edge products for the health care industry and expand as the products grow.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years Java Web application development (Apache Tomcat)
- Experience with Agile teams that have delivered software while practicing code review
- Experience and strong understanding of RESTful web services architectures and related communication protocols
- 4+ years Web Application development utilizing MVC design patterns
- Knowledge of and desire to work in an Agile development environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Creative problem solving skills and ability to effectively communicate and translate feedback, needs and solutions
- Must have strong teamwork orientation and the ability to foster collaboration within and across teams
- Needs good work ethic and strong sense of ownership of end result
- Optional but preferred: 2+ years Android and/or iOS application development
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field. Or,equivalent combination of education and recent, relevant work experience
