Up to 30 hours per week – Salary range commensurate with experience. Location Spokane WA or Austin TX (co-working space opening soon Central Austin). Ringful Health is seeking a part time mobile application developer to work on mobile applications for health care clinicians and patient engagement. This part time position will be up to ¾ time. Key responsibilities will be to develop components of our software application, provide testing and support for products that are deployed for clinical trial. This person will
- Quickly design and develop new code
- Estimate, and design for small increments of work
- Perform root cause analysis, technology evaluation, and quick prototypes
- Commit to completing well-defined work and deliver on those commitments
- Report status of assigned software development and/or maintenance tasks
- Consistently follow the specified software development methodology
Qualifications:
- 2+ years Server–side Java Application Development (Apache Tomcat)
- Working knowledge of the entire LAMP stack (Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP)
- Understanding of database design, encoding, and performance
- Familiar with JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery
- Working knowledge of HTML5, and CSS3
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Creative problem solving skills and ability to effectively communicate and translate feedback, needs and solutions
- Must have strong teamwork orientation and the ability to foster collaboration within and across teams Needs good work ethic and strong sense of ownership of end result
- Experience using Git source control
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field, or, equivalent combination of education and recent, relevant work experience
