Where or how are THREAD_ATOMIC_START and THREAD_ATOMIC_END defined?

Please check onigmo's topic/multithread branch.
They are defined in regint.h. USE_MULTI_THREAD_SYSTEM and USE_DEFAULT_MULTI_THREAD_SYSTEM must be defined to enable this feature. Executing ./configure --enable-multithread has the same effect.
