Aiden looks at her with concern. "It's not safe out here. We need to keep moving," he says, his eyes darting around the forest. "If they're after the Book of Ancient Spells, they'll come after us again."
Seraphina grips onto her daughter's arm. "We have to get the book to the Council of Mages. They'll know how to protect it."
Aiden nods in agreement. "But first, we need to get you to a safe place. The Royal Palace is the best option. King Roderick will keep you both safe and we can get the council's attention."
Eliana looks at Aiden, unsure if she should trust him. But the way he carries himself and the urgency of the situation can't be ignored. "Okay," she said. "Let's go to the palace."
As Eliana, Seraphina, and Aiden make their way towards the Royal Palace, they come across a narrow path that leads through the Dark Woods, known for being home to dangerous creatures and dark magic.

The bandit group fights with all their might, their staffs and swords clashing against the dark wizards' spells. After a time, they manage to overpower the dark wizards and force them to retreat. The scarred bandit turns to the group, wiping the sweat from his forehead.
"My name is Marcus," he says, introducing himself. "My group of bandits has been fighting against these dark forces for years. We cannot stand by and let them take over the kingdom. It's become more dangerous than ever with the threat of the Dark Lord."
Eliana and Seraphina exchange a look of concern at the mention of the Dark Lord. "What can we do?" Eliana asks.
Marcus looks at them thoughtfully. "I suggest you bring the Book of Ancient Spells to the Council of Mages. They'll know best what to do with it. If the dark forces want it, then it must hold great power. But be warned, the Council may not be as hospitable as you think."
Eliana nods, grateful for the bandits' help. "Thank you, Marcus. We'll keep that in mind."
As Eliana, Seraphina, and Aiden continue their journey through the dense forest with Marcus and a few of his men, they come across a clearing where they can rest and make camp for the night. The trees tower above them, filtering the light of a waning moon. Creatures of the night stir in the darkness, their calls echoing ominously through the forest.
