I have tried varying the audio settings, updating my sound card driver (it is a RealTek HD audio embedded card) and the drivers were up to date

What do you mean by cutscenes?
you:
The cutscenes between the races. The menus and races (actual gameplay) work just fine, it's the movies in between that have no sound

Jonas, Please discuss your issue on the game forums and make sure that there is sound in cutscenes.

There is no sound, I made sure. And I can't even find the game forums. You are supposed to be the last bastion of hope. Why would you direct me to the forums?

It happens when the main character exits the car crusher and until he reaches the car. And also during the movie in the sushi bar, after the getaway (first gameplay scene). I have not played beyond that part
