INTEGRATED VFR CIRCULATION AT TMA-SP, TMA-RJ AND PARAÍBA VALLEY
- PRELIMINARY PROVISIONS
1.1. GOAL
This Circular aims at the order and safety of the traffic of aircraft flying under Visual Flight Rules in the Terminal Control Areas of São Paulo (TMA-SP), Rio de Janeiro (TMA-RJ) and the FIR-CW section below the existing FL110 between these two TMAs, over the Paraíba Valley and the north coast of São Paulo and south of Rio de Janeiro, as well as under their projections and in all other existing Structures in them, establishing Special Routes for Aircraft in Visual Flight (REA) and Routes Special Routes by Helicopter (REH), in order to:
- avoid interference with IFR flight traffic;
- optimize the use of Airspace and the provision of ATS;
- minimize the effects caused by the noise of these aircraft;
