Pyrasite is an amazing and incredible tool!
It took a bit of doing to get pyrasite-memory-viewer up and running.
Meliae's packaging is out of date; no pip install for us today. Fall back to the old-school routine of downloading the .tar.gz, unzipping it, and running setup.py install.
(You'll seed Cython installed first. I was able to pip install cython.)
Next problem was that virtualenv python isn't set up to let gdb find debugging files. Fortunately that was fixable by adding a symlink.
