1: OPENING WORDS [OW]
When I heard about the Arcade Edition DLC, one of the things I was
looking forward to were the new trials. Sadly, they never came.
I really like the Trials, because they help new players learn some
basic stuff with a character quickly, offer good combo pathways
for you to come up with your own combos, as well as an execution
challenge and a test of your knowledge of the game in general.
With this in mind, I decided that I would make some myself, so that
other people still could do these things. I still had a blast making
these though, so I sure got my fair share of fun out of it as well.
2: ABBREVIATIONS [ABR]
I will write the input of the moves to the right of them.
These are the abbreviations I'll use there. Take a look if you're
not familiar with Street Fighter terminology.
F: Forward
DF: Down-Forward
D: Down
DB: Down-Back
B: Back
UB: Up-Back
U: Up
UF: Up-Forward
P: Any Punch
PP: Any Two Punches
PPP: All Punches
K: Any Kick
KK: Any Two Kicks
KKK: All Kicks
LP: Light Punch
MP: Medium Punch
HP: Heavy Punch
LK: Light Kick
MK: Medium Kick
HK: Heavy Kick
QCF: Quarter Circle Forward: Move the stick from Down to Forward.
QCB: Quarter Circle Backwards: Move the stick from Down to Back.
HCF: Half Circle Forward: Move the stick from Back to Down to Forward.
HCB: Half Circle Backwards: Move the stick from Forward to Down to Back.

3: RULES [RLS]
When doing these trials, these settings has to be used:
Mode: Training Mode
Opponent Character: Dan (in alt. costume 1 if you have it :P)
Action: Stand
Guard: Auto Block
Quick Stand: Use "No" for authenticity or "Yes" for simplicity, your choice.
Counter Hit: Off
Stun: None
S.C Gauge: Refill
Revenge Gauge: Refill
If Dan is supposed to be jumping for a certain trial, or if you
need to use a certain Ultra, I will write that at those respective trials.
For Yun and Yang, all their moves during Super count as other moves
than their normal versions. So you can't activate the Supers to make
something easier. In the video guide, moves during the Supers will
be colored light blue. I will use (GJ) and (SE) in this document to specify
when to use moves during Super.
Remember, you're only doing this for yourself, so there's no reason to
lie about which trials you have done or cheat.
4: THINGS TO NOTE [TTN]
Like the actual trials, I will not differentiate between close and far
versions of normal moves, nor straight or angled jump moves.
I will not tell you when to jump, dash, or whiff moves to complete a trial,
just like the original game. Nor will I tell you which version of a normal
or which strength of Focus Attack you should use in a certain situation.
I will simply write the name of the moves you need to hit with (or merely
activate if they have no hitting part). Note that if you need to do an
EX Focus Cancel, I will always write that down.
Some combos will only work in the corner, some won't work in the corner
at all. Others might require you to have your back to the wall. If you
can't get something to work, change position.
Note that the ultra might change a lot in the final trials,
so you might want to all the trials requiring one of the ultras first.
Remember that "EX Focus Attack" means you have to hit with the FA, and
"EX Focus Cancel" means you're supposed to just dash out of the FA instantly.

9: CHECKLIST [CL]
Use this checklist to keep track of your progress.
If you want, you can use my difficulty system:
Easy: You can add moves and use more than 4 bars of meter.
Medium: You can add non-essential Moves, but not use more meter than
normally possible.
Hard: You can only do the moves mentioned, and other moves that are
required to do that might not be mentioned.
Just write "E", "M" or "H" to remember what difficulty you've beaten it in.
Or just use an X or something if you don't care.
