The Collaboration Void

There are some things you can share with your team and your clients/users for better collaboration:

  • Same physical room.
  • Conference call active all the time.
  • Chat room active all the time.
  • Occasional conference calls.
  • THE VOID.
  • Mailing List

As your team grows larger and more geographically dispersed, you have to move down the ladder. :(

The problem with keeping a chat room open all the time is that everyone will be bothered with the message alerts from everyone else.

Como permitir colaboração nos moldes do GoogleWave (q o próprio Google matou) e do IRC (q pouca gente usa) usando o Skype, uma ferramente mais popular?

Problema

  • É super chato ficar recebendo aquelas notificações toda vez q qualquer um fala alguma coisa no chat.
  • Algumas pessoas querem participar remotamente e assincronamente.
  • Alguns querem participar mais, alguns menos. Pouquíssimas pessoas querem ver TODAS as conversas do projeto.
  • O grau de participação de cada um varia de acordo com o tempo.
  • Os assuntos de interesse variam de pessoa pra pessoa dentro do projeto.

Esta solução serve para o projeto Sneer, mas pode ser adotada por qualquer projeto.
