Eats

###25 Lusk

  • This fine gem is perfect or two, or a large group. Great for familiy-style ordering, or just an appetizer, entrée and dessert.

  • This iconic San Francisco restaurant is a great place to take friends from out of town, family, or just a group of friends. It can get busy, so make sure you're prepared. Make sure you try the chicken, and if you make it in for brunch, they have killer bloody mary's.
  • This is a favorite French restaurant of many. The service, food and drinks are impeccable. It's a cute restaurant tucked away in the financial district/Union Square.
  • Yamo is a small burmese kitchen of sorts. It has a small counter with ~12 bar stools for seating. Wear something you are planning to toss in the laundry, because there's no chance you won't smell like the food on your way out. But hey, the food is incredible so I wouldn't complain too much. Try the black bean fish, tea leaf salad, and a bowl of 'cold noodles.' Cash only so make sure you hit an ATM before hand. Really cheap, ~10$/person.
  • A GitHub favorite. It's still worth going there when it isn't a new hire lunch. The menu is pretty expansive and the cocktails are great also.
  • Some of the best ramen you can find in San Francisco. Like most gems, this one can be a bit of a wait. They don't take reservations, but if you put your name on the list, you can go grab a drink at a bar near by. If you life in the neighborhood, just order it to go. Add a little water to it. Add a lot of heat. Presto!
  • Known for their deep dish, Little Star is a must visit if you fancy pizza.
  • If you like italian food, you will LOVE A16. Everything is delicious. Just be sure to make a reservation

###Spruce

  • Spruce is fancy as shit. The service is impeccable and so is everything you will put in your mouth. :). Expect to spend ~100+/person, but to leave feeling really great about your life. If you want to experience Spruce without dropping so much $$, go in for a burger during lunch. It'll be the be the best burger you've ever had. Yes, better than chickfilet or In-n-Out.
  • Great mediterannean food. Lamb shank, chicken, pita, hummus, and of course, drinks.
  • THE BEST BREAKFAST EVAAAAR. Make sure you try; watermelon lemonade, coffee (blue bottle with hickory), beignet flight. After you get those out of the way, you just have to work your way around the regular menu items and specials. There are no wrong answers here. I'd make sure to go with someone who doesn't mind sharing their meal :).
  • I really don't know what else to say here. :)
  • This one however, needs some info. Busy. Small. But oh so good. If you can stomach sea food before 11am, that's when I would recommend going. Try the end of the day (~4:30pm) and you risk them being out of stuff you want. The 23$ lobster salad is a must, along with the clam chowder and smoked salmon. The best Anchor Steam on tap in San Francisco due to a long standing relationship with the brewery (the get the freshest kegs). Boudin, the bread/soup place, also bakes bread special for this oyster bar. Cash only.
  • More of a rustic vibe than Rye, but equally incredible drinks. If you came here right after work, make sure to grab a bite to eat here.
  • Great food and drinks in Hayes Valley.

###Comstock Saloon

  • Near the heart of North Beach. Go for the food, stay late for the drinks.
