Simple automated GIT Deployment using Hooks

Simple automated GIT Deployment using GIT Hooks

Here are the simple steps needed to create a deployment from your local GIT repository to a server based on this in-depth tutorial.

How it works

You are developing in a working-copy on your local machine, lets say on the master branch. Most of the time, people would push code to a remote server like github.com or gitlab.com and pull or export it to a production server. Or you use a service like deepl.io to act upon a Web-Hook that's triggered that service.

A simple proof-of-concept for modularizing the CSS for each block, and linking it "just in time".
<?php
// this snippet requires PHP 5.3+
add_action( 'wp_enqueue_scripts', function() {
wp_register_style( 'atomic-blocks/ab-cta', '/path/to/atomic-blocks/css/ab-cta.css', array(), 1.0.0 );
} );
add_filter( 'render_block', function( $block_content, $block ) {
if ( 'atomic-blocks/ab-cta' === $block['blockName'] ) {
ob_start();
wp_print_styles( $block['blockName'] );

Here are some things you can do with Gists in GistBox.
// Use Gists to store code you would like to remember later on
console.log(window); // log the "window" object to the console
