SimPit for Raspberry Pi

Games & Config for a Raspberry Pi SimPit (cockpit for simulators)

Not just using a Pi for accessories, but actually using it for games.

Hardware

Computer Hardware

• Raspberry Pi 3 w/ PS
• Large Monitor/TV
• Powered USB Hub
• Flight Sticks (USB)
• Steering wheel with pedals
• Speakers
• USB or Bluetooth Microphone (Headset? - Phone Headset?)
• USB keyboard/mouse

Optional

• 2nd Raspberry Pi w/ PS (B/B+ OK) for Voice Chat - Mumble
• 2nd Monitor/TV for Mumble display (small OK)
• 2nd keyboard/mouse (or perhaps use Synergy?)
• Wifi Adapter for 2nd Pi

Cockpit Hardware (non Computer)

• PVC Pipe (for Frame)
• Coraplast sheets or wall board (for walls)
• 2x4 for Monitor Stand(s)
• Seat (beach folding chair?)
• PC Fans (for airflow)
• Dryer vent hose(s) (ducting for fans)

Softare

Helper Programs

• Emulation Station with joystick controls for easy launching of games without keyboard & Mouse

• OOLite (works on Pi 3 but has graphical glitches)
